Home Centre is one of the Middle East's best-known home furnishings retailers and one of the largest organised home retail chains in India. Landmark Group opened the first store in Sharjah in 1995. The chain moved into India in 2005 with a store in Chennai and launched homecentre.com in India in 2017. It now runs more than 120 stores. Landmark Group, founded by the late Micky Jagtiani and chaired by Renuka Jagtiani, owns the brand alongside Centrepoint, Max, Babyshop, Splash and Home Box. The company is headquartered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The incredibly dominant Middle Eastern furniture retailer was founded in Sharjah in 1995, perfectly timing the massive real estate explosion in Dubai to become the absolute largest home furnishings brand in the Arab world.
