Home Centre is a furniture and home furnishings retailer owned by Dubai-based Landmark Group. It opened its first store in Sharjah, UAE, in 1995 and now operates more than 120 stores across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Egypt, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and India.
Who owns and runs Home Centre?
Landmark Group, founded in Bahrain in 1973 by the late Micky Jagtiani and chaired by Renuka Jagtiani, owns the brand. Arja Taaveniku is CEO of Home Centre. In India, the business is run by Lifestyle International Pvt Ltd and led by CEO Jayanti Ganguly, who took over from Sitaram Kumar on 1 September 2025.
How Home Centre makes money
Home Centre sells in-house designed furniture, mattresses, soft furnishings, kitchenware and decor in large stores and online, with delivery and assembly. Products are made by contract manufacturers. Shoppers earn points in Landmark's Shukran loyalty programme.
Financials
Home Centre does not publish standalone results. Lifestyle International, which runs Home Centre, Lifestyle and Max in India, reported FY2024-25 revenue of about Rs 12,031 crore and net profit of about Rs 415 crore.
Competitors
In the Gulf, Home Centre's main rivals are IKEA, Danube Home, Pan Emirates and Alshaya's Pottery Barn and West Elm. In India, it competes with IKEA, Pepperfry, Urban Ladder, HomeTown and online marketplaces.

Management is focused on distinctive in-house design, omnichannel shopping and growth in home upgrades, storage, multifunctional furniture and personalisation.
