McLaren Automotive is a British supercar maker based at the McLaren Technology Centre in Woking, Surrey. Set up as a standalone road-car company in 2010, it reported revenue of ~$615 million (£465.9 million) in 2023. In April 2025 Abu Dhabi's CYVN Holdings completed its purchase from Bahrain's Mumtalakat and merged McLaren with Forseven to form McLaren Group Holdings, led by CEO Nick Collins.

Mumtalakat funded McLaren through repeated losses, including a record loss in 2023. CYVN Holdings took over in 2025. Michael Leiters, CEO from 2022, stepped down after the merger, and Nick Collins now leads the group with plans to expand beyond two-seat supercars.
Competitors
McLaren competes with Ferrari, Lamborghini, Aston Martin and Porsche's GT cars, relying on carbon-fibre tubs and F1-derived engineering to stand apart.
