Company History
Founded 2012 in Tel Aviv, Israel & New York, NY, United States
In 2010, Roy Mann was CEO of SaveYa and former CTO of Wix, where he experienced the painful daily friction of managing fast-growing engineering and marketing teams using disjointed email threads, static spreadsheets, and confusing task trackers. Mann partnered with Eran Zinman, a brilliant systems engineer and former founder of Conduit mobile tech, to build an intuitive, visually transparent platform where every team member could see exactly who was working on what in real time. They founded 'daPulse' in February 2012 in a small Tel Aviv apartment. In November 2017, after realizing that the name daPulse did not reflect their vision for a universal daily work tool, they boldly rebranded to 'monday.com' (transforming the most dreaded day of the work week into something teams looked forward to). By pairing extreme visual simplicity with powerful no-code automations, Roy and Eran created the modern Work OS category.
