Filip Kaliszan is a Polish-American computer scientist, technology entrepreneur, and executive who co-founded Verkada in 2016 and serves as its CEO. Born in Poland, Kaliszan moved to the United States and earned a bachelor's and master's degree in computer science from Stanford University. While at Stanford, Kaliszan co-founded CourseRank, a pioneering course evaluation platform that expanded to hundreds of universities before being acquired by Chegg. Following Chegg, Kaliszan partnered with Hans Robertson, Benjamin Bercovitz, and James Ren to establish Verkada. Under his leadership, Verkada transformed from an early hybrid-cloud camera prototype into a $3.2 billion enterprise security titan serving over 20,000 corporate and institutional customers.
