Co-founder 2018

Background

Billionaire tech entrepreneur and Flipkart co-founder.

Role at Navi Technologies

Sachin Bansal founded Navi in 2018. He founded Navi with the explicit goal of completely disrupting the highly rigid, deeply bureaucratic Indian banking sector by offering instant, app-based loans.

Sachin Bansal was born in 1981 in Chandigarh. Education: Indian Institute of Technology Delhi; St. Anne's Convent School.

Bansal was born on August 5, 1981. He co-founded Flipkart in 2007 with Binny Bansal, to whom he is not related, and served as its chief executive and chairman during more than 11 years there. He left in 2018 after selling his 5.5 percent stake to Walmart.

Ankit Agarwal
