Founding Story
David Holz co-founded Leap Motion, a hand-tracking hardware company, in 2010 and left after it was sold to Ultrahaptics in 2019. He started Midjourney in 2021 as a self-funded lab with a small team and advisers including Jim Keller and Nat Friedman.
