Soham Mazumdar

Soham Mazumdar co-founded Rubrik in 2014, serving as a core systems architect responsible for designing the platform's distributed consensus and indexing engines. Mazumdar earned his Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur and completed graduate studies in Computer Science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. At Google, Mazumdar was a principal architect behind the company's next-generation disk-based search indexing infrastructure. In 2011, he co-founded Tagtile, a mobile customer loyalty and marketing platform that was acquired by Facebook in 2012. Joining forces with Sinha, Nithrakashyap, and Jain, Mazumdar applied web-scale search and metadata indexing principles to backup repositories, enabling instant file-level search and granular recovery across petabytes of enterprise data.
