Founding Story
Philippe Courtot (1944–2021) was a visionary Franco-American tech entrepreneur who led cc:Mail and Signio before investing in Qualys in 1999 and becoming CEO in 2001. He pioneered the concept of cloud-delivered security software and guided Qualys to its 2012 NASDAQ IPO and multi-billion-dollar valuation.
