John Wolthuis is the co-founder and former Chief Technology Officer of Twilio Inc., bringing extensive technical acumen and infrastructure engineering experience to the founding team. Prior to Twilio, Wolthuis co-founded Heavyweight Software with Jeff Lawson, where he developed a deep understanding of the limitations of the existing telecommunications infrastructure and the technical requirements for building a cloud-native alternative.
