Bhavik Koladiya possesses a strong background in software development and technology product management. Despite facing a conviction for credit card fraud in the US in 2015, he returned to India and leveraged his deep technical background to build resilient, highly scalable software systems. His hands-on experience in engineering and product design provided the foundational technological infrastructure that powered BharatPe's massive early expansion.

Bhavik Koladiya is an Indian entrepreneur and a critical original co-founder of the fintech giant BharatPe. Koladiya teamed up with Shashvat Nakrani in 2018 to build the initial product architecture for BharatPe's revolutionary interoperable QR code. As the operational and technological anchor during the company's early days, Koladiya oversaw the product verticals that allowed BharatPe to rapidly capture the Indian merchant market. Due to concerns from institutional investors regarding his past legal issues in the United States, Koladiya officially transitioned to an 'independent consultant' role when Sequoia Capital invested, though he remained one of the company's largest individual shareholders and the key technological architect until his eventual departure in 2022.
