Background
Jason Robins possesses an incredibly deep, highly analytical background in corporate data analytics and massive consumer marketing. Honed during his intense tenure managing multi-million dollar marketing budgets at Vistaprint, this highly rigorous background in customer acquisition cost (CAC) and lifetime value (LTV) metrics provided the exact corporate blueprint required to aggressively scale DraftKings' massive national advertising campaigns.
Founding Story
Jason Robins is a highly prominent American technology executive and the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of DraftKings. A massive sports fanatic, Robins initially worked in corporate analytics at Vistaprint, where he met his future co-founders. Frustrated by the incredibly slow pace of traditional season-long fantasy sports, Robins, alongside Matt Kalish and Paul Liberman, famously launched DraftKings from a spare bedroom in 2012. Under his highly aggressive, brilliant executive leadership, DraftKings completely dominated the Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS) industry, surviving massive legal and regulatory battles. Following the historic 2018 Supreme Court ruling striking down the federal ban on sports betting, Robins successfully pivoted the company into a massive, publicly traded sports betting and iGaming empire.
