Assaf Rappaport

Assaf Rappaport was born in Israel and served as a high-ranking commander in the top Unit 8200 cyber intelligence agency of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). He studied computer science and physics at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and earned a Master of Science in computer science from the Technion. In 2012, he co-founded cloud security pioneer Adallom (acquired by Microsoft for $320M in 2015), subsequently serving as General Manager of Microsoft Israel R&D.

Assaf Rappaport is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Wiz, Inc. A charismatic leader of large commercial vision and audacity, Rappaport co-founded Wiz in 2020 alongside his longtime partners Yinon Costica, Ami Luttwak, and Roy Reznik.
