Alexis Le-Quoc

Alexis Le-Quoc possesses a highly rigorous background in computer science and massive-scale systems operations. Earning his Master's from École Centrale Paris, his critical formative background managing the infrastructure for millions of users at Wireless Generation gave him the exact operational blueprint required to pioneer the DevOps movement and architect Datadog's massive, cloud-scale observability platform.

Alexis Le-Quoc is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and co-founder of Datadog, a massive, industry-leading cloud observability and security platform. After meeting his co-founder, Olivier Pomel, while studying at École Centrale Paris, Le-Quoc eventually became the Director of Operations at Wireless Generation in New York. There, he experienced intense, constant friction between the software developers and the systems administrators. To solve this massive operational headache, Le-Quoc and Pomel co-founded Datadog in 2010. Le-Quoc architected a unified, cloud-native monitoring platform that successfully merged data from servers, databases, and third-party apps into a single dashboard. His brilliant technical philosophy drove Datadog's massive success, culminating in a highly lucrative 2019 Nasdaq IPO.
