Albinder Dhindsa earned a degree in Civil Engineering from IIT Delhi before earning an MBA from Columbia Business School. His early background in transportation analytics and supply chain logistics at Cambridge Systematics gave way to his critical role as the Head of International Operations at Zomato. This deep background in aggressive international scaling and highly complex consumer logistics perfectly equipped him to engineer a massive 10-minute delivery network.

Albinder Dhindsa is a prominent Indian entrepreneur and the co-founder and CEO of Blinkit (formerly Grofers), a massive pioneer in India's quick-commerce industry. Dhindsa co-founded Grofers in 2013 with Saurabh Kumar, initially operating as a hyperlocal delivery service connecting consumers with neighborhood merchants. After years of brutal competition with Swiggy and BigBasket, Dhindsa made a massive, highly risky strategic pivot in 2021, rebranding the company to Blinkit and going all-in on the 10-minute grocery delivery model. This aggressive pivot paid off spectacularly, redefining Indian e-commerce and leading to a massive $568 million acquisition by Zomato in 2022. Dhindsa's success scaling Blinkit led to his appointment as the Group CEO of Zomato's parent company, Eternal Ltd., in 2026.
